Traditional wooden building but the rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom is also clean with modern fixtures. Breakfast is yummy. If only the rates are lower, I would give it 5 stats.
Onsite parking is limited, however, there is plenty of free on road parking. Building is traditional, comfortable and clean. Facilities are good, iron, trouser press and hair dryer. Breakfast is good with lots of choice, both hot and cold. Located near Bath (not by foot) with a nice restaurant nearby (the globe).
We stayed for a long weekend in a family room. Clean but a bit dated. Beds were comfy but the double was 4'6! Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and some off road. Bus stop just outside with easy access to Bath. Can walk along the river too but it's quite industrialised so not pretty!
Good clean B&B. Helpful staff. Room a little on the small side. Lovely cooked breakfast. Little bit confused why we were also served freshly cooked samosas though. Certainly a first, but very tasty nonetheless!
For the price the room was huge and well kept if slightly dated. We were in room two on the ground floor. Breakfast was lovely and fast service, with a good selection to choose from. WiFi in the hotel was quick once connected. My only complaint would be the noise. We were just down from reception and it was quite loud. Also stairs ran over our room which was noisy when they were being used.
Friendly staff and a nice place to stay with soulful rooms and a tasty breakfast. The only snag was the size of the dining room. It's small so there have to be two breakfast sittings. We didn't get to pick ours, and having breakfast at 730 is a bit early for us on holidays!
Great hospitality - 5 Stars. We booked a night here via Travel Zoo. It turned out to be a fake booking, and the hotel was actually full and had never even listed with that agency or received our payment. We were very upset - Easter weekend and nowhere else to stay. An absolute horrible situation. When he understood the situation owner of the hotel came to us personally and apologised. They gave us the managers room and breakfast free of charge. We understand that he is not at fault at all, and yet went out of his way to resolve the problem. A lovely man and great service.
Our room was lovely, well decorated, clean and spacious. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was also great and good value for money as you get a choice from a small menu, not just a buffet like some hotels.
